UAH 5,000 for utilities: who can apply for assistance and how to do it
A support program has been launched in Ivano-Frankivsk for military personnel participating in hostilities who have not yet received combatant status. These soldiers can receive a one-time allowance of 5,000 hryvnias to cover housing and communal services costs.
This information was confirmed on the official website of the local Center for Administrative Services (CASS).
Among the military personnel who can benefit from this assistance are:
- Military personnel registered in the Ivano-Frankivsk city community.
- Internally displaced military personnel who are also registered in the settlements of this community according to the Unified Information Base of IDPs.
The main condition is that the applicant must not be a combatant and must not use privileges to pay for communal services. Financial assistance is provided once a year.
To receive payment, military personnel or their representative must submit a written application to the city mayor. The following documents must be attached to the application:
- Copy of passport;
- Copy of identification code;
- Extract from the register of the territorial community about the place of residence;
- Certificate of participation in hostilities or ensuring the country’s defense;
- IDP certificate (if the applicant is an internally displaced person);
- Bank account details for transferring funds.
This initiative aims to support the military in covering the costs of utility services, as many service members do not have access to benefits despite serving in combat.
