A tragedy that shocked many: a film about missing servicemen is being made in Ukraine
The issue of missing service members as a result of Russia’s aggression in Ukraine is critical. This issue requires active discussion. Currently, the full-length film “Reminiscence”, dedicated to this topic, is in production.
The film’s director, Anastasia Tykha, said this on Channel 24, noting that the idea of creating the film arose even before the start of the full-scale invasion, during the ongoing anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
The film “Reminiscence” takes place six months before the start of large-scale aggression.
We are investigating the issue of missing service members at a time when the war has not yet directly affected most people, she emphasized.
At the center of the plot is the main character, Sasha, who returns home to her mother to help her put her older brother’s things in order, who disappeared in 2018.
