Під звуки сирен та в очікуванні на зустріч: Bloom Twins випустили нову роботу разом із Klangkarussell

To the sound of sirens and waiting for a meeting: Bloom Twins released a new work together with Klangkarussell

In their new track “Cross The Border,” the duo Bloom Twins explores how trying to reach their father under fire turns into a struggle for moments together. The song serves as a voice for those who cannot be with their loved ones due to war, becoming a musical manifesto of the importance of family ties in times of crisis.

Ukrainian duo Bloom Twins have released a new single, Cross The Border, created in collaboration with Austrian electronic musicians Klangkarussell. The release took place under the auspices of Bias Beach Records.

This collaboration is not the sisters’ first, as they have already established themselves on the international electronic scene. They have previously worked with such famous artists as Benny Benassi (tracks “DayDream” – over 3 million streams), Jan Blomqvist (tracks “High on Beat” – over 8 million), Purple Disco Machine (“Opposite of Crazy”), and Damian Lazarus (“Alive”). Out Now Magazine described the new track as “a rebirth of energy,” and Nick Morgan created a popular club remix of it.

Bloom Twins’ previous song, Mama Maria, recorded in collaboration with Reinier Zonneveld on Armada Music, also received significant attention, and now the artists present a profoundly personal and sensual new composition. Cross The Border is not just a song about war; it is a story about separation, exile, and danger, but at the same time about the strength of family ties.

“This song is about unconditional love for family and what we are ready to do for them, despite the dangers. Our loved ones are still experiencing the horrors of the war in Ukraine. To meet our father, we need to overcome a 25-hour journey, risking our lives. Sometimes we manage to return home without incident, and sometimes not. This track is dedicated to family love, because you need to appreciate every moment spent together, because the next day may not come,” the twins note.

The composition combines emotions of sadness, memories, and hope, creating a contrast between internal pain and a melody that feels spiritual euphoria. “Cross The Border” embodies the experiences of millions of Ukrainian families who live far apart, sometimes separated by years and thousands of kilometers.

Bloom Twins signed a deal with Armada Music for distribution and publishing, continuing to expand their musical style and seeking a balance between electronic and alternative music. Their previous release, “Mama Maria,” received significant support from Spotify and was featured on the cover of the New Dance 2025 playlist.

The single “Cross The Border” was released ahead of Klangkarussell’s new album, Petrichor, which is scheduled for release on November 7th via Bias Beach Records.
