One-time pension benefit of UAH 10,000: who will receive it?

Persons aged 65 or older can receive a one-time financial assistance of UAH 10,000. These funds are intended to cover medical expenses and daily living costs.

A new social initiative has been launched in the Volnovakha urban community to provide financial support to older people.

The following persons are eligible for assistance:

Persons who have reached the age of 65;

Citizens permanently residing in Ukraine, excluding territories where hostilities are ongoing or occupied by occupiers;

People who have a registered or declared place of residence in the Volnovakha community;

Internally displaced persons with appropriate confirmation in the Unified Information Base.

Those who meet all the specified criteria and provide the necessary package of documents can count on assistance of UAH 10,000.

Application procedure

To receive assistance, a special application form must be filled out.

You must also attach:

passport of a citizen of Ukraine;
identification code;
extract from the community register of the place of residence;
certificate of an internally displaced person issued no later than February 24, 2022;
power of attorney (if a representative applies);
certificate with bank account details in IBAN format.
Documents can be submitted in person to the Center for Providing Administrative Services of the Volnovakha VCA or remotely via email. In this case, the applicant’s electronic signature is required, and the message subject must indicate “65+”.

It was previously reported that the Pension Fund of Ukraine will simplify the requirements for retirement at 50 years.

There is also information that pensions will be transferred unscheduled, and that specific categories of citizens may be returned funds that were not received due to calculation errors.
