Subsidies will be listed for Ukrainians: who will receive benefits and in what amount

The Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) completed the recalculation of housing subsidies for the 2025-2026 heating season. The department disseminated relevant information through its press center.

Citizens can check the updated charges in their personal account on the PFU web portal, in the “My Subsidy” section. The October payment was already made in November. This is because the heating season started on October 16 and lasted 16 days. The calculations take into account heating costs, including individual systems (gas or electric) and district heating.

People who are eligible for a subsidy but have not yet applied can do so in several ways:

– online through the PFU electronic services portal or the “Pension Fund of Ukraine” mobile application;

– personally, by contacting any service center of the Fund;

– by mail, by sending a package of documents to the territorial branch of the PFU.

As the Fund’s representatives noted, persons who apply by November 30, inclusive, will receive a subsidy from the start of the heating season. If documents are submitted after December 1, the calculation will start from the month of submission.

A housing subsidy in Ukraine is an irrevocable aid for citizens whose income does not allow them to cover the costs of communal services. This subsidy is intended for low-income families and helps offset the costs of heating, gas, water, electricity, and other services. The size of the subsidy is determined individually using a special formula that takes into account each household’s income and mandatory payments.
