Azov has identified a city that could become the next target for Russia: Ukrainians have been warned about a new danger

The Russian military is trying to advance its infantry units towards Kostyantynivka, in the Donetsk region. A member of the 12th Azov Brigade, using the call sign “Kultura,” reported this during a broadcast on Hromadske Radio.

According to him, the enemy is advancing at a set pace and constantly trying to infiltrate the interpositional space in small groups to reach the city.

“They are trying to infiltrate with infantry, small units, to penetrate Kostyantynivka. Although these groups are regularly eliminated during operations, attempts are ongoing,” the military said.

He also emphasized that the situation in this direction is tense and that the enemy is forming an operational or partial encirclement of Ukrainian forces. At the same time, enemy activity is also recorded in the rear, but there is no decrease in attacks.

The officer added that Russian forces are losing ground in other areas of the front, particularly in Mirnograd and Pokrovsk, where the situation is more favorable to them. This forces the enemy to concentrate resources in these areas, but Kostyantynivka remains in their plans as the next target.

He also noted that the Kostyantynivka-Pokrovsk road is currently extremely difficult for Ukrainian troops, as the enemy has gained control of the route, capturing Poltavka and advancing toward Mayak. This complicates the logistics of Ukrainian units, which are forced to look for bypass routes.

The military stressed the strategic importance of Kostyantynivka to Russian forces, as it is a key logistical hub. Kramatorsk and Sloviansk are here, and the road to Izyum passes through, which could become an important supply point for the enemy.

“These cities are strategically important for reaching the administrative borders of the Donetsk region, and the enemy will continue to try to capture them,” the officer summarized.
