Ексдепутат-втікач Комарницький підозрюється у безподатковому продажу елітної нерухомості на суму 12 мільйонів гривень

Fugitive ex-deputy Komarnytskyi is suspected of tax-free sale of luxury real estate worth 12 million hryvnias

Former Kyiv City Council member Denys Komarnytskyi has been charged with possible tax evasion of nearly 12 million hryvnias related to the sale of luxury real estate in the capital.

According to the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, the Protection of Citizens’ Rights and Freedoms has launched a pre-trial investigation, which has established that Komarnytskyi, now a lawyer, purchased 48 apartments in prestigious residential complexes in Kyiv. He successfully sold some of these apartments, earning 68 million hryvnias in income.

Investigators noted that Komarnytskyi did not pay about 12 million hryvnias in taxes from this amount. Therefore, his actions were classified under Part 3 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which concerns tax evasion in massive amounts.

The press service of the prosecutor’s office noted that the suspicion report was issued in absentia, suggesting Komarnytskyi’s possible absence from Ukraine or his evasion of justice.

An investigation is currently underway to establish all the circumstances of the case and identify the persons involved in the tax evasion scheme.

In September, NABU, together with Austrian law enforcement officers, searched the residence of Denys Komarnytskyi, located in the suburbs of Vienna.
Komarnytskyi’s arrest was confirmed by the Appeals Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice, where he is suspected of major land corruption cases, and he is currently abroad.
Igor Nikonov, founder of KAN Development, stated that his company invested in housing construction, and Komarnytskyi himself then sold the apartments.
