“100 thousand dollars for peace and quiet”: Marta Adamchuk from the “Women’s Quarter” spoke about her apartment and utility costs
Artist Marta Adamchuk from “Women’s Quarter” opened the doors of her country home in Kozyn, located near Kyiv, for the first time and gave a tour of her possessions.
She explained why she decided to leave the capital for the sake of suburban peace. According to the singer, life in Kyiv was highly stressful for her:
“The city is too noisy. I lived in a nice area, but there were dance and fitness classes under my apartment. I couldn’t stand this noise. And at some point, I realized that I needed to find a quieter place.”
So Marta bought a spacious apartment in Kozyn with an area of 123 square meters for 100 thousand dollars. She happily recalls that this purchase was a lucky coincidence for her:
“Friends were selling their homes at an attractive price, it happened before the quarantine. I quickly sold my old apartment and moved into a new one, untouched by renovation work. I am constantly busy in the city, and there is peace here.”
However, after the start of a full-scale war, the renovation was suspended because much remained unfinished.
“There is still a lot of work to be done here,” the Artist admits.
Marta also revealed the details of maintaining her possessions:
“The cost of utilities in winter, when there is heating, is 7-10 thousand hryvnias, and without it, 5-6 thousand. I take great care of the apartment, and that is why it looks new.”
Although the house gives comfort and coziness, the main support in Adamchuk’s life remains close people. The singer speaks warmly of her friend Vera Kekelia, who is often abroad with her children:
“We are like family, but now we don’t see each other that often.”
In addition, Marta spoke about her friendship with KOLA:
“We got along great. This is a real meeting of two souls. I love Nastya very much.”
Currently, the Artist enjoys the silence and her own space, believing that only here she feels the genuine warmth of her native home.
