Explosion in the premises of the Trade Center in Odessa: a man died, a serviceman was injured

In Odessa, an explosion occurred on the territory of the district recruitment center, as a result of which one person died, and another was injured.

On November 21, an explosion occurred in the Peresypsky district recruitment and social support center in Odessa.

The relevant information was confirmed by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odessa region. The agency noted that “the police are working at the site of the explosion in one of the RTCC and SP in the city of Odesa”.

According to preliminary data, one person died, and another person was injured as a result of the explosion.

Emergency services are working at the scene to clarify the causes and circumstances of the incident. Further details will be reported later.

The territorial recruitment center reported that the explosion occurred during communication between service members and a man on the premises.

It is preliminarily believed that an unknown object that was among the personal belongings of a citizen detonated.

As a result of the explosion, a man died, and one of the service members was injured. He was provided with first aid and hospitalized; his health condition is being clarified.

Investigators, representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine, and rescuers arrived at the scene. They are investigating the circumstances of the incident and the origin of the explosive device.

The leadership of the regional CCC and SP assured that they were coordinating their actions with the police and assisting in the investigation.

The department called on journalists and the public to refrain from spreading unconfirmed information and wait for official reports.

It is worth noting that recently, in Odessa, a wounded dog died in the Odessa Amulet clinic, which volunteers discovered. They reported improper medical procedures before anesthesia in the institution, which caused problems. This is not the first case of this kind in this clinic.
