Strike drones are flying in the air over the Odessa region: explosions can be felt since morning

Odesa and its region are facing the most powerful drone attack since the start of the full-scale war. The situation remained tense throughout the day after the attacks, which began in the evening.

According to local sources, several Russian strike drones are currently circling the region, some of which are moving towards Chornomorsk, Odessa, and the surrounding area. The air alert was declared at 07:46.

The first series of explosions, probably caused by the operation of the air defense system, occurred after 09:20. The strikes affected the outskirts of Odessa.

According to reports, one of the drones hit the window of a new building in Odessa.

Falling debris and hits without detonation were observed in several areas in the city and region. Some of them caused damage to the roofs and facades of private houses, as well as to the unfinished high-rise building and a hotel.

There are currently no reports of casualties or injuries.

Several cases of falling debris and non-explosive impacts have already been recorded. Both residential and non-residential buildings, garages were damaged, and debris was also recorded falling in open areas in rural areas, OVA head Oleg Kiper reported on the first details of the massive attack.
