CCC pointed out errors causing conflicts during mobilization

During communication with representatives of territorial recruitment centers (TRCs), Ukrainians often show emotional reactions, and a regular dialogue can easily turn into a conflict. The TRC employees assure that the reasons for such misunderstandings do not lie in strict requirements or a bad attitude, but in common mistakes of citizens who forget several vital aspects that can change the nature of communication.

Roman Istomin, speaker of the Poltava Regional TRC, notes that most conflicts arise from a misunderstanding of the role of a serviceman carrying out his mission. TRC employees are active military personnel who implement orders from the command, not personal wishes. They do not make political decisions and are not responsible for Russia’s military aggression or for the actions of officials.

Istomin emphasizes that experiences, stress, or a sense of injustice often cause people’s emotional reactions. For example, citizens may express dissatisfaction with the duration of the war, delays, or certain personal circumstances, while addressing their claims to the wrong persons. The CCC employee is not to blame for these situations; his duty is to comply with the law.

The major advises changing the approach to communication, starting with a simple greeting. If desired, you can discuss military experience, as many have been through combat operations. After such a conversation, many people change their attitude, losing their aggression, because they see before them not an official with authority, but a person who risked his life.

Istomin urges Ukrainians to remain calm, noting that respect and understanding help to resolve issues faster and more effectively. CCC employees work within the law; their goal is to defend the country. Therefore, conflicts most often arise from misunderstandings about the military’s role and the imposition of responsibilities they do not have.
