Система ''Імпульс'' досягає нового етапу: цифровий облік запроваджують у підрозділах безпілотних систем ЗСУ

The ”Impulse” system reaches a new stage: digital accounting is being introduced in the unmanned systems units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Digital personnel management in the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to develop. The Impulse system, which has already demonstrated its effectiveness in combat units, is expanding its application to the Unmanned Systems Forces, where data processing speed is critical.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the start of the third wave of implementing the Impulse military personnel accounting system.

At this stage, the digital platform is being integrated into units dealing with uncrewed aerial vehicles. Previously, the system successfully worked in individual units of the Airborne Assault and Ground Forces.

The implementation is taking place in stages: first, the technical infrastructure is developed, then a secure environment is set up, and finally, data is transferred to support units’ transition to daily work in the system.

The development and implementation of Impulse is being carried out by a team of IT specialists from the Center for Scaling Technological Solutions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who have real combat experience and understand the needs of units in modern conditions.

This allowed the system’s specific application to be taken directly into account on the ground. Technical deployment is carried out by the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Today, more than 200 military units are already actively working in “Impulse”.

According to Ivan “Grinch”, head of the digitalization direction of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, several units have received the necessary equipment and have begun setting up a protected environment for working with the system. “Impulse” should significantly accelerate the processing and analysis of information, allowing for more accurate, operational decisions critical to the performance of combat missions.

However, “Impulse” is not limited to accounting functions alone. This platform will become the basis for the future digitalization of the Ukrainian army. In the future, the collected data can serve as the basis for developing other digital services, in particular the SAP defense resource management system, the “Army+” application, and the Medical Information System.

Thus, the “Impulse” system lays a solid foundation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s further digital transformation.
