Baking soda can eliminate both acidic and alkaline odors, which are often the cause of discomfort. To make a natural air freshener, fill a small container with half a glass of baking soda and add 10-15 drops of aromatic oil. It is recommended to leave the jar lid slightly open.

Place this container in the room where odors bother you the most. Baking soda will effectively fight unpleasant odors, and essential oil will add a light, unobtrusive accent.

To give your laundry a scent, prepare a mixture of 1/2 cup Epsom salt and the same amount of baking soda, then add 10 drops of essential oil. Add a tablespoon of this composition during washing – it will make fabrics softer and give them a pleasant aroma. To use baking soda in different parts of the house, place small containers in the kitchen, bathroom, closets, and bedrooms, and replace them monthly.
