Drone attack on the Dnipro: casualties and damage

On the night of January 7, the Russian military launched a strike on the Dnieper River using drones. The attack injured 7 people, including two children.

Boris Filatov, the mayor of Dnipro, announced this information.

According to the mayor, residential buildings and educational institutions were damaged. Hundreds of windows were broken in more than 10 high-rise buildings.

In addition, there is information about damage to heating systems near one of the destroyed buildings.

A large number of cars were also burned down. Among the injured are 7 people, two of whom are children.

“Most of the injured are suffering from acute stress reactions, but there are also cases of shrapnel wounds. The city’s medical institutions are providing the necessary assistance,” the mayor noted. He added that a vocational school that trains locksmiths and confectioners suffered significant damage. Although the fire was extinguished, a workshop and a student dormitory were damaged. Two kindergartens and one school were also damaged.
