Ukrzaliznytsia has restored power supply, train traffic has returned to normal

In rail transport, it was possible to stabilize the power supply after an external power outage disrupted it across several regions. Trains continue to run, although with some delays.

Ukrzaliznytsia reported this information in its January 31 statement.

“Power supply has been restored in most regions, and trains are running according to the established routes. Delays from the schedule are minimal and will soon be compensated,” the company notes.

In addition, UZ reports the resumption of Kyiv City Express after a break in operations. At the moment, metropolitan trains are delayed by 20-30 minutes.

At Ukrzaliznytsia stations, conditions for a comfortable stay are maintained, with electric lighting and heating, and heating points are also operational.

On January 31, DTEK announced the introduction of emergency power outages in Kyiv and the Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions. Oblenergo and other regions also announced the need for emergency power outages.
