Equipment for the Kyiv Oncology Center: ventilators, defibrillators and infusomata from the background “Nadia”, Valery Dubil and Vita Prysiazhniuk

The charity fund of the youth initiative “Nadia,” headed by Acting President Vitaya Prysiazhnyuk and Chairman of the Supervisory Board Valery Dubil, handed over the latest medical devices and consumables to the Kyiv City Clinical Oncology Center.

Among the equipment received: a ventilator, an infusion machine, a Kangaroo Joey Pump for tube feedings, and a Powerheart AED G3 portable automatic defibrillator. In addition, the facility received a large package of medical supplies, including dressings, surgical and laboratory kits, and anesthesia and patient care supplies.

The Kyiv City Clinical Oncology Center is one of the leading medical institutions in the capital. More than 850,000 laboratory tests, 70,000 examinations in the X-ray diagnostics department, and about 5,000 endoscopic procedures are performed here every year. The consultation polyclinic serves about 100,000 patients a year, and the hospital serves more than 20,000 patients. Doctors also perform about 6,000 surgeries, and thousands of patients receive chemotherapy and radiation therapy each year.

According to Valery Dubil, the support of medical institutions is a priority for the “Nadia” Foundation: “Today, Ukrainian doctors work in extremely difficult conditions – during war, blackouts, constant shelling, and great strain on the health care system. Our task is to provide them with all the necessary equipment to save lives. An investment in a hospital is an investment in the nation’s health and its future.”
