Тарифи у Києві з 1 квітня 2026: зміни цін на транспорт та комунальні послуги

Tariffs in Kyiv from April 1, 2026: changes in prices for transport and utilities

From the beginning of April, Kyiv residents will continue to pay for public transport and utility services at the existing rates. Despite the difficulties in the economy, no price increases are planned, although some categories of the population may be provided with financial adjustments.

From April 1, 2026, public transport tariffs in the capital of Ukraine will remain unchanged. The fare will be the same as before for all types of municipal transport.

Thus, for one trip on the metro, buses, trolleybuses, trams, city trains and funiculars, passengers will continue to pay 8 hryvnias, while travel in minibuses will remain more expensive – 20 hryvnias per trip.

Certain categories of Kyiv residents will continue to enjoy travel privileges. This applies, in particular, to pupils, students and other citizens who are guaranteed such privileges by law.

Regarding utility services, the previous tariffs are also maintained in April. The cost of electricity will remain at 4.32 hryvnia per kilowatt-hour during standard time and 2.16 hryvnia during the night period (from 23:00 to 07:00) for consumers with dual-zone meters.

The price of natural gas for the population will also remain unchanged and will be 7.96 hryvnia per cubic meter.

The tariff for water supply and wastewater will remain unchanged, and Kyivvodokanal has not announced any revision of the cost of its services, so Kyiv residents will continue to pay for water at current rates.

It should be noted that the heating season in Kyiv ended on March 24, which will also affect the structure of utility charges in April.
