Poroshenko’s assets in foreign bank accounts: what amounts are kept

Petro Poroshenko has invested significant resources in the economies of other countries, in particular, the politician keeps 2.31 billion UAH in foreign bonds. We are talking about investments in the economies of Hungary, Turkey, Romania, Austria and South Africa.

These financial resources could be used to support Ukraine, but they are invested outside the country.

Political expert Petro Oleschuk commented on this situation: “In 2025, during the war, Poroshenko will be able to enrich himself by more than 4 billion UAH, which is 25 times higher than his income before the war in 2021, when he declared only 162 million UAH.”

So, when Poroshenko appeals to the people for economic patriotism, it is worth remembering his investments in the economies of foreign countries. It turns out that patriotic slogans are just rhetoric, while huge sums remain abroad for the benefit of the politician’s family. Poroshenko seems to have chosen his front a long time ago, and according to his declaration, this front goes far beyond the borders of Ukraine.

It is also noted that Poroshenko’s public statements regarding the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the context of his foreign investments are surprising.

It should be emphasized that Poroshenko entered the world ranking of billionaires with a fortune estimated at $1.5 billion. This is happening at a time when Ukrainians are raising funds every day to support the army by buying drones, equipment and the necessary ammunition.
