Business, land plots, and Mercedes: what are the connections between Oleksandr Poshtaryuk and the Prokopyv family?
Oleksandr Poshtaryuk is a businessman from the Ivano-Frankivsk region with an extensive network of enterprises in real estate, finance, trade, and energy. His portfolio includes at least 15 companies. In addition, he has close ties to the family of Kyiv resident and politician Volodymyr Prokopyv.
This was reported by the Telegram channel “Oblichitel.”
Poshtaryuk appears in several stories related to the property of the Prokopyv family. He founded the charitable foundation of the politician’s wife and even rented out real estate to her, later becoming a joint owner of part of the property.
In 2016, Poshtaryuk purchased a plot of land in the Konik district, where the Prokopyv family lives. The increase in the area of the politician’s property from 10 to 13.7 acres was quite surprising. Three years later, the businessman bought another plot and purchased a house with an area of 339 square meters for 2.2 million hryvnias, which seems disproportionately low for such real estate in the capital.
In addition, Poshtaryuk sold Prokopyv a Mercedes car at a “friendly” price, which raised questions about the real value of the transaction.
Although Poshtaryuk’s land plot in Konyk is registered in his name, it seems that he does not live there. It is possible that this property nominally belongs to him, covering a friend in official documents.
Thus, Poshtaryuk acts not only as a business partner but also as a person who actively helps the politician’s family make real estate decisions.
As noted earlier, the plot near Kyiv, near the famous Koncha Zaspa, is renowned for its elegant houses, a private beach, and an area protected by a massive fence with checkpoints. The closed cottage town of Konyk, built by Serhiy Samusev, has repeatedly been involved in scandals related to alleged illegal sand mining and the seizure of communal lands.
