95% are waiting for a summons: Ukrainians were explained how mobilization issues are resolved
Mobilization in Ukraine remains one of the most pressing topics. Many people who sincerely want to join the Armed Forces have already done so.
And what to do with the rest? They need to be encouraged and convinced.
The commander of the 210th separate assault regiment, Pavlo Kurylenko, noted in an interview that:
“95% are waiting for a summons, hoping it will not come. When it comes, they say: we have to go. It is with such people that we need to work.”
According to him, only 20% of the fighters are actively involved during the first battles, while the rest experience significant stress. This is a natural reaction, and the army’s task is to help them adapt.
Manipulations around mobilization
Kurylenko also criticized the so-called “beautification” when the media exaggerates cases of forced mobilization:
“You take an individual case, inflate it, add emotions, and create the illusion of mass. In reality, thousands of injured soldiers voluntarily return to service.”
What does the army need?
The military emphasized that the key to successful mobilization is not just a draft but a conscious choice of a person regarding his role in the army:
“Who would you like to be in the army? What can you realize yourself? A person must have burning eyes. Then a real warrior will come out of him.”
Let us recall that even those who have reservations are subject to mobilization. Lawyers explain why this is happening. Earlier, it was reported that students may receive hefty fines from the CCC. There was also information that strict restrictions are being prepared for deserters and their families.
