The occupiers may carry out a massive strike: an expert drew attention to the threat

Military analyst Igor Romanenko draws attention to the possibility of a massive missile and drone strike by Russia on Ukraine on Easter night. The expert justifies why Kremlin strategists choose such dates to carry out attacks and what Ukrainians should pay attention to.

Romanenko, a retired lieutenant general, emphasizes that the Russian military leadership often chooses symbolic dates — particularly religious or state holidays. In his opinion, Easter will not be an exception to this rule.

“Vladislav Putin, raised in the KGB, knows how to use dates to pressure the enemy psychologically. This was already the case on Palm Sunday,” he notes.

The expert emphasizes that Russia has in its arsenal the necessary means for massive attacks — ballistic missiles, Shahid drones, and cruise missiles. “They have everything they need: plans, means, and motivation to strike on holidays to demoralize the population,” he adds.

Ukrainian intelligence and international partners are already working to monitor the situation, but Romanenko emphasizes that people must be prepared for the worst-case scenarios.

In addition, the expert notes that the Russian military has changed tactics: instead of massive strikes on essential objects, they have begun to concentrate strikes on individual settlements. The use of a large number of drones on one target makes such attacks especially dangerous.

“15-20 drones per city plus missiles turn this operation into an attempt to destroy entire districts,” Romanenko points out.

He also urges Ukrainians not to ignore the alarm signals on Easter, to prepare in advance for actions in case of a threat, and to check the availability of shelters. Vigilance and readiness can be essential for saving lives.

The Kremlin continues to use religious holidays to demonstrate strength and psychological pressure. Ukrainians should be morally prepared for possible provocations even on these holidays.
