Is Apple preparing a revolution? Details about the foldable iPhone 18 Ultra
Blogger Sam Kehl from the AppleTrack channel on YouTube has shown impressive renderings of an upcoming foldable smartphone from Apple. According to his assumptions, it will be called the iPhone 18 Ultra.
Based on rumors and insiders, these concepts present a unique design that resembles an iPad tablet with a seamless screen, a significant step forward compared to other foldable models.
The smartphone should interest users. At the top of the case, there is a USB port and a Touch ID scanner, which are rarely found in other gadgets of this type. It is also worth noting that the foldable screen will not have the usual crease on the bend, which is one of the main problems for Apple when developing such a device.
According to unconfirmed data, the iPhone 18 Ultra will receive an external display measuring 5.5 inches and an internal screen measuring 7.8 inches. Inside, they plan to install an A20 Pro chip, 12 GB of RAM, and up to 1 TB of internal storage. According to preliminary data, the gadget’s official release may not take place before 2026.
Regarding the iPhone line, Apple has not yet decided to release the iPhone 17e model, which could be the successor to the iPhone SE. If it is launched, the release is scheduled for early 2026. However, the company seems to want to reconsider its approach to the “e” series and will probably not update it every year, as before. The primary focus will be on the iPhone 17, the presentation of which is scheduled for the fall of this year.
