Expert reveals Trump's special envoy's peace plan proposals based on the "Famous Kellogg Map"

Well-known political analyst Ruslan Bortnyk revealed in his blog some aspects of the so-called Kellogg Map, which was once proposed to demarcate zones of influence in Ukraine. In particular, he noted that this map provided for the deployment of Ukrainian, British, and French troops on the right bank of Ukraine, while the left bank, which was not occupied, should be subordinated only to Ukraine. All occupied territories remained under Russian control.

The expert also expressed his opinion on creating an 18-mile demilitarized zone along the front, emphasizing that it should also be implemented on Russian-Ukrainian soil. As Keith Kellogg noted, time in miles should be converted to kilometers – this is approximately 30 km.

“Does this sound familiar to you? I think so. This aligns with the Minsk agreements, which also provided for the disengagement of forces, and the demarcation zones were even wider. Still, without a reliable monitoring mechanism, they could not be implemented. However, Keith Kellogg proposes creating a buffer zone: Ukrainian troops should withdraw 15 km from the front line, the Russians too, and this zone can be controlled, for example, through a “coalition of the willing,” Bortnyk noted.

If such a model is implemented, the “coalition of the willing” will become an air mission that provides monitoring without a physical presence. Technically, this is possible, but Russia is likely against it.
