Reservation will not be an obstacle: when mobilization with the right to postponement is possible
Conscripts who are eligible for a reservation may be mobilized in some instances. Lawyer Vladislav Derii provided this information.
A Ukrainian man who wants to use the reservation option but is facing obstacles due to a violation mark in the “Reserve+” system contacted a specialist. The man asked whether it was possible to resolve this issue by paying a fine at the territorial recruitment center to obtain the right to a reservation.
Derii emphasized the risks associated with visiting the territorial center without grounds for a postponement and a completed reservation. He noted: “If you contact the TCC without proper grounds or a completed military reservation program, you may be sent to a military medical commission, as well as issued a summons for dispatch.”
According to the lawyer, there is a risk that a conscript may be mobilized before the enterprise where he works has time to complete the necessary reservations. Vladislav Derii emphasized that the process of making a reservation can last up to three days, and during this time, it is possible to be assigned to the service.
Earlier, it was reported that men had until June 5 to avoid mobilization. There were also discussions on a possible lowering of the mobilization age, on which the Verkhovna Rada has already expressed its position. Additionally, it became known that there are likely cases of conscription, even with a reservation or with a medical certificate, which violates the rights of those liable for military service.
