Trump is ready for dialogue with Zelensky and Putin at Erdogan’s suggestion

Turkey has expressed its readiness to host trilateral talks between Donald Trump, Volodymyr Zelensky, and Vladimir Putin in Istanbul. The White House confirmed that Trump is “open” to such an event.

White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt noted that the US president does not rule out the possibility of participating in a meeting to end the war provoked by Russia. This information was reported by international media, referring to her comments during a press briefing.

The White House also emphasized that Donald Trump is prepared to accept Recep Erdoğan’s invitation to peace talks in Turkey. Earlier, the Turkish leader confirmed his readiness to organize this meeting between Trump, Zelensky, and Putin.

Erdoğan stressed that Turkey is taking steps to facilitate these talks, planning to meet with representatives of both sides.

When asked about this, Trump confirmed his readiness for the meeting. Levitt added that the Trump administration is seeking an early end to the war, noting that “too many people have died” and that the president believes this conflict needs to be resolved at the negotiating table.
