Russian troops struck Rivne with the help of “shaheeds”

On the night of June 9, the Rivne region was subjected to a massive attack by Russian occupation forces, who used dozens of Shahid drones and missiles. This was the most potent strike on the area since the start of the full-scale invasion.

Oleksandr Tretyak, the mayor of Rivne, stated this.

He noted that this was the most intense attack in the Rivne region, resulting in one of the most challenging nights for the area due to numerous explosions.

“Dubno took the main blow. The Kremlin regime is in a panic, but we will not be broken. We must stick together!” — wrote Tretyak.

During the night, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repeatedly informed about the planned launches of cruise missiles in the direction of Rivne and Dubno, and residents heard explosions throughout the city.

The head of the Rivne regional military administration, Oleksandr Koval, also confirmed that the night was very difficult for the region.

“Rivne region suffered a powerful air strike. According to preliminary data, one civilian was injured,” Koval emphasized.
