The CCC announced a wanted list: a lawyer revealed three ways to cancel the status of a tax evader

Citizens who have received a notification that they have been put on the wanted list for violating military registration rules have several options for resolving this situation. Lawyer Vladislav Derii provided this information.

In Ukraine, men subject to military registration who evade their duties may be put on the wanted list. This can occur due to various violations, such as failing to update personal data promptly, ignoring summonses, or failing to appear for a military medical examination.

The “wanted” status is indefinite, so it is essential to resolve this issue quickly. During document checks, for example, at checkpoints, a person may be detained and forcibly taken to the Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC).

Lawyer Vladislav Derii notes that there are three primary ways to cancel the “evader” status and be removed from the wanted list.

Payment of a fine

In the case of minor violations that are not accompanied by other offenses, a citizen can resolve the situation by paying a fine. In some cases, the law allows for a 50% reduction in the amount of the fine.

Appeal in court

If a person believes that the wanted announcement is illegal, they have the right to go to court. If a favorable decision is made, the violator’s status may be canceled.

Closing the case

The “wanted” status may be removed if the case on an administrative offense is closed due to the absence of elements of the offense.

Earlier, it was reported that evading mobilization could result in possible consequences, which are not limited to fines.

Information was also announced about a new notification system from the CCC, which will provide instant notification.

Additionally, the Ministry of Defense confirmed that mobilization will apply to men aged 60 years and above.
