Delicious “Boat” cheesecakes, suitable even for toddlers and will not harm you during a diet
Proper nutrition not only helps you lose weight but also improves your overall health. Even sweet pastries can be part of a healthy diet without adding extra calories. Nutritionist Karina Gavrilova shared a recipe for cheesecakes on her Instagram, which are quite suitable even for children.
According to Gavrilova, these cheesecakes can be introduced into the diet of even young children. She recommends avoiding honey, as it can cause allergies in babies. Instead of yogurt, it is better to use baby cottage cheese.
“These cheesecakes are safe for children, but without honey, because it is not recommended to be given to children under one year old. After one year, it should be introduced with caution if there is no allergy. I believe that white yogurt can be easily replaced with baby cottage cheese or add a banana for additional sweetness,” she emphasized.
Cheesecakes “Boats with Berries”
Ingredients:
Low-fat cottage cheese (5%) – 200 g;
Egg – 1 pc.;
Egg white – 1 pc.;
Egg yolk – 1 pc.;
Banana – 1 pc.;
Honey – 2 tsp. (optional for children over one year old);
Baking powder – 1 tsp.;
Flour – 3–5 tbsp.;
Natural yogurt – 2–3 tbsp.;
Berries – a handful.
Cooking instructions:
Put cottage cheese, egg, egg white, banana, honey, and baking powder in a blender. Gradually add flour, kneading a soft dough that does not stick to your hands. Form oval blanks with raised edges in the form of “boats” from the dough.
For the filling, mix the yolk, honey, and yogurt until a homogeneous, creamy mass is formed. Carefully fill the center of each cheesecake with this filling, and place the berries on top.
Place the workpiece on a baking sheet lined with parchment and place in an oven preheated to 200°C. Bake for 20–30 minutes or until golden brown, keeping a close eye on the process, as cooking time may vary depending on your oven’s temperature.
