The average salary in Ukraine increased by 499 hryvnias per month

The Pension Fund of Ukraine announced a new indicator of the average salary, from which insurance contributions were paid to calculate pensions for May of this year. It is noted that this indicator is 20,355 hryvnias 40 kopecks.

In April, the average salary from which contributions were made was 19,856 hryvnias; in March – 19,430 hryvnias; in February – 18,589 hryvnias; and in January – 18,660 hryvnias.

Earlier, it became known that the average salary in 2024, taking into account insurance contributions, is 17,486.60 hryvnias.

Additionally, Minister of Finance Marchenko assured that the budget funds for military payments will be sufficient.
