Actor Michael Madsen, a celebrity of Tarantino films, has passed away

On July 3, at the age of 67, American actor Michael Madsen, who gained fame thanks to his roles in Quentin Tarantino’s films, including “Mad Dogs,” “Kill Bill” and “The Hateful Eight,” passed away. The Hollywood Reporter reported this.

The actor was found unconscious in his home in Malibu, after which the police were called by 911. A representative of the Los Angeles County sheriff’s office confirmed that Michael Madsen was officially declared dead at 08:25 local time (18:25 Kyiv time).

According to the actor’s agent, Liz Rodriguez, the preliminary cause of death was cardiac arrest, and this version is considered the main one.

Madsen’s family experienced severe grief in January 2022 when his son, 26-year-old Hudson Lee Madsen, committed suicide on the island of Oahu. Hudson served in the U.S. military, served in Afghanistan, and resides in Hawaii with his wife. His godfather was famed director Quentin Tarantino.

Michael Madsen has appeared in over 100 films throughout his career, earning a reputation for his charismatic and brutal characters, which have left a lasting impact on American cinema.
