Naftogaz emphasized the conditions for receiving subsidies, without which assistance will not be provided

For Ukrainians who intend to apply for subsidies or conduct real estate transactions, it is essential to be aware of the new requirement: providing a certificate confirming the absence of outstanding gas debt.

Naftogaz warns that without this document, a subsidy for paying for utility services may not be assigned or may be delayed.

This certificate confirms that the consumer has no debts for the natural gas used. It may be needed not only when applying for a subsidy, but also for notaries and state registrars when concluding real estate transactions.

For convenience, Naftogaz offers the use of its online system to obtain this certificate, eliminating the need to visit offices. To get it, you need to:

Go to the “Online services” section.

Select the “Account status certificate” item.

Click the “Generate” button, after which the document will be available for download in PDF format.
This allows you to obtain the necessary information quickly, without waiting in queues and wasting unnecessary time.

Why is this important?

During a period of increased demand for subsidies, social services process a vast number of applications. If an application is submitted without the necessary certificate or with an expired document, it may result in delays in the assistance grant process.

Additionally, the presence of debt for utility services is a reason not to grant a subsidy.

Earlier, it was reported that there was a possibility of reviewing payments for poor-quality gas and paying compensation to Ukrainians, as well as addressing issues with charges for unused gas.
