Запуск нового проєкту для ВПО: які пропозиції для переселенців

Launch of a new project for IDPs: what are the proposals for displaced people?

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the “Shelter” platform has been assisting people who have lost their homes for over three and a half years. A new program is currently being introduced, which was announced by MP Halyna Yanchenko.

Over time, the needs of internally displaced persons have evolved: now, people require not only a roof over their heads but also the opportunity to earn a stable income. In this regard, the project team is ready to launch a new direction – “Shelter. Work”.

“Today, just a roof over their heads is not enough. People want to return to their normal lives, feel financially secure, and be useful. That is why we decided to expand the project’s mission and offer a comprehensive solution – housing and work at the same time,” Yanchenko noted.

The new resource “Shelter. Work” will create a bridge between employers who need staff and Ukrainians who are looking for stable employment and housing. For businesses, it is an effective tool for attracting motivated employees, and for IDPs, an opportunity to start a new life in a safe environment.

The platform will include:

a database of vacancies for which housing is provided;
an opportunity for internally displaced persons to quickly move and find work;
tools for communities interested in new residents and the workforce;
support from government agencies, including the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.
The project team is already actively collaborating with employers, local authorities, military organizations, and business associations. The portal is in the final stage of development.

“This will not just be a website update, but a completely new approach – a resource with a new philosophy, focused on the long-term integration of people into new communities. The official presentation of the project is expected in July or August,” Yanchenko added.

Thus, “Shelter. Work” has the potential to become an essential step towards the economic adaptation of Ukrainians under challenging conditions, while also helping employers address staff shortages in various regions of the country.

We would like to remind you that we previously discussed the issue of including foreign experience in pensions, as well as other updates on social support for Ukrainians.
