About 300 UAH, but you will need to work with documents: how pensioners can receive compensation

In 2025, Ukrainian pensioners can expect not only basic payments, but also additional allowances.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine reported that a supplement of 10% of the subsistence minimum will be introduced for persons who have the status of an honorary donor.

Currently, the monthly amount of this supplement is 292 hryvnias, which is based on the unchanged last year’s subsistence minimum (2920 UAH). To receive this supplement, a person must officially confirm their donor status and submit the appropriate package of documents.

Citizens who:

have donated blood at least 40 times;
Or, for blood plasma, 60 times can apply for the supplement.

After fulfilling these conditions, a person receives the status of “Honorary Donor of Ukraine” and a certificate.

To apply for a supplement to their pension, you must contact the Pension Fund with the following documents:

Application for a supplement for donation;

passport or other identification document;
identification code;
certificate of an honorary donor (both of Ukraine and the USSR).
According to Law No. 931-IX, the state provides donors with legal protection and compensation for damages in case of harm to health as a result of donation. Also, in case of disability due to donation, this is equated to an occupational injury.
