Who is entitled to early retirement before age 60
Ukrainians working in hazardous conditions or at hazardous enterprises have the opportunity to retire earlier than the generally accepted age of 60. This right is regulated by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 162.
The document lists the professions, positions, and types of work that allow for preferential retirement. At the same time, it is necessary to provide official documents confirming exceptional work experience for this purpose.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine noted that women can count on a pension from the age of 55 if they have worked for at least 10 years in difficult conditions, and men – if they have more than 12 years of experience. In this case, the total insurance experience must be:
- for men – at least 30 years, of which at least 12 years and 6 months in hazardous production;
- for women – at least 25 years, of which at least 10 years in similar work.
The list includes specialties from such sectors as metallurgy, mining, and chemical industries, as well as construction and other industries.
Procedure for obtaining a preferential pension
To receive an early pension, it is necessary to provide documents certifying work in hazardous conditions. These documents may be entries in the workbook and certificates from enterprises or organizations.
The certificate must contain the following information:
- exact periods of work in hazardous conditions, which are included in the exceptional experience;
- name of the position or profession;
- description of the work and working conditions;
- reference to the section and name of the list, which includes the relevant period of work;
- references to the primary documents based on which the certificate was issued.
These measures, thanks to government initiatives, are designed to support people working in difficult conditions, ensuring their right to early retirement.
