Directing the military in Transcarpathia – the border guard received $ 1,200 for ” legalization ”
In Transcarpathia, a border guard was detained, who organized an illegal scheme for “legalization” of the return of the military who left Ukraine. The inspector accepted money for the fake registration of their return, introducing false data into electronic registers.
About it reports the SBU Office in the Transcarpathian region. Law enforcement officers discovered an inspector from one of the local border units who had created a criminal mechanism to enable men to avoid responsibility during mobilization. For a payment of $ 1,200, he provided information about the border crossing to the database for those who actually remained abroad.
In the course of the investigation, several cases of providing such “services” were recorded. The border guard was detained during the registration of a fictitious return of the next client, who was really outside Ukraine.
The employee is suspected under Article 368 (368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) of receiving an undue benefit. The investigation is ongoing to gather all the details of the case and possible accomplices in this scheme.
