Acrobatic performance ended in a fall: what happened in a club in Odessa
A dangerous incident occurred in a nightclub in Odessa: during the acrobatic act “Medusa”, one of the cables broke, causing the dancer to fall.
On August 17, two girls were performing a number at the “Ibiza Beach Club” during an evening show when an accident occurred. One of the cables holding the artists in the air suddenly broke.
In the video that appeared on the Internet, you can first hear a crack, and then one of the girls falls with screams. According to eyewitnesses, she landed on a plastic chair. The reasons for the fall remain unclear at this time.
Comments from viewers indicate concern: “It is not known what happened to the girl”, “I hope everything will be fine”, “It’s terrible, she landed upside down”. Some asked: “Where is the insurance? Who is the organizer?”
Users expressed indignation at the lack of insurance, but others noted that it is challenging to apply it during aerial tricks. One of the protection options could be a net or a pool to cushion the fall. It was also indicated that the fasteners need to be checked.
The club has not yet commented on the situation. According to local Telegram channels, the victim was taken away by a private ambulance, and her condition remains unknown.
In addition, in Odessa, the SBU detained two people who were spreading Kremlin propaganda, justifying Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. Also in early August, demand for rail travel significantly exceeded supply, particularly between Kyiv and Lviv, which became the most popular route, while Kyiv-Odesa entered the top five in terms of passenger numbers.
