Poll among Poles on support for sending troops to Ukraine
Polish citizens express a reserved attitude towards the possible deployment of Polish troops in Ukraine as part of international peacekeeping contingents.
According to the results, 61.1% of Polish citizens surveyed do not support the idea of the participation of Polish military personnel in peacekeeping forces, while 17.3% expressed their support for this decision.
Approximately 22% of respondents did not vote on this issue.
Among those who are against the deployment of soldiers, residents of small towns (up to 20 thousand inhabitants) predominate – 69.9%, as well as young people (68.6%). On the other hand, the most significant number of supporters of the idea is recorded among respondents with basic vocational education (27.2%) and those aged 35-49 (20.9%).
Additionally, Great Britain is prepared to offer its support to Ukraine in organizing elections following the end of the war.
