The SBU Academy strengthens its practical focus and partnerships
During a roundtable discussion at Ukrinform, Andriy Chernyak, the rector of the educational institution, spoke about the latest approaches to student training. He emphasized that the academy combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, which allows graduates to compete not only successfully among themselves but also with cadets from other law enforcement agencies. This, in turn, increases the overall level of training.
The academy has already received over a thousand awards from the operational units of the Security Service and dozens of awards from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which reflect the tangible results of its cadets’ and students’ work.
According to Andriy Chernyak, the educational programs implemented at the academy provide students with the opportunity to confidently apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired in real life. He emphasized that the practical component of training future officers is essential because students actively participate in real tasks and demonstrate successful results.
The rector also noted that the educational institution actively cooperates with international partners. Experts in the field of information and cybersecurity are involved in the classes, which contribute to the integration of global experience with their own developments. This improves the quality of counterintelligence personnel training and makes the academy more competitive among leading educational institutions in the security field.
