MES order caused outrage at teachers because of the number of pages exceeding the scope of the book
At the end of August this year, Ukrainian teachers received emails from the Ministry of Education and Science containing an order on the conceptual foundations of the educational branches and a plan for implementing these principles for the period up to 2025-2030. This document, comprising 509 pages, caused outrage among teachers due to its complexity and the incomprehensible teaching style it employed.
This was reported on her TikTok page by literature teacher Yulia Yevgenivna. She stressed that this order did not contain any valuable information. “After reading only the name, I have already understood what it was about,” she said, noting that the document has more pages than a book on literature. The teacher expressed fear that the education worker should hope for the summary of such decrees.
Julia added that she did not understand who was preparing such documents. “I absolutely do not understand why the ministry wants to convey this letter,” she confessed.
The teacher expressed the opinion that orders written in official and dry language did not improve the quality of education. She believes that to achieve this goal, it is necessary to provide methodological recommendations in simple and understandable language, complemented by an intuitively convenient and accessible interactive map.
Many colleagues supported Yulia in the comments, emphasizing that the excessive number of pages in orders repelled from the desire to read and implement them.
Earlier, it was reported that the school uniform would be returned in Ukraine, as well as updates on cash care for parents of students and new services for internally displaced persons.
