In Azov plan to significantly change the rules of conscription

The need to optimize the mobilization process in Ukraine has become an essential topic of discussion. The deputy commander of the 1st Corps of the NSU “Azov,” Svyatoslav “Kalina” Palamar, in conversation with journalists, expressed the opinion that to improve mobilization, it is necessary to focus on motivating citizens, introduce regular rotations, and reduce bureaucratic barriers.

Palamar emphasized that mobilization should be viewed not only as a duty of the military but also as a task that concerns the entire society. He believes that military service should be seen as a sacred duty of every citizen, not as a difficult test. In this context, the roles of the state, media, cultural figures, and intellectuals in fostering respect for the Armed Forces are essential.

“All segments of the population should be involved in the entire mobilization system. Society should be aware that military service is a vital aspect of national security. The heads of state, leading media, and thought leaders should promote the enhancement of the authority of the army,” Kalina said.

In addition, he noted that the war could be delayed for many years, so it is essential to form an understanding of this reality and establish a fair support system for the Armed Forces.

“This war can last more than ten years – 10 or even 20. We need to learn to live with this and adapt to it. We should not hope that someone from the ocean can solve all our problems,” Palamar emphasized.

The President’s office also commented on the cancellation of mobilization after the war, noting that maintaining combat readiness is a critical task. The administration has specified that a decrease in the mobilization age is not planned, and this topic is not even being discussed.
