Turning September into tea: two bright preparations for winter evenings
September brings cool evenings when hot tea in your hands becomes an integral part of the autumn landscape. Wouldn’t it be better to make this drink on cold days reminiscent of hot summer, filled with berry aromas and light spices? Today, we will share two simple recipes for tea preparations that can be prepared in just 10 minutes and enjoyed throughout the autumn and winter seasons.
These recipes are absolutely unpretentious: mix the ingredients, freeze them, and with the arrival of the first snow, take them out of the freezer – small cubes of summer are always at hand.
Preparation #1: Cranberry-Orange with Cinnamon
For this recipe, you will need:
- A handful of cranberries
- Half an orange
- A cinnamon stick
- A little Jerusalem artichoke syrup
- A small amount of water
Preparation #2: Sea buckthorn-ginger with lemon
For the second recipe, take:
- A handful of sea buckthorn
- A slice of lemon
- A piece of ginger
- A spoonful of Jerusalem artichoke syrup
- A little water
How to cook?
Mix all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour the resulting mass into ice molds or small containers. For additional aroma, you can decorate with a sprig of rosemary. Please put it in the freezer.
In winter, add one of the cubes to a cup, then pour boiling water or black tea over it, and enjoy—no bags, no flavorings — just natural ingredients, citrus, and a little creativity.
