A family with children died when a drone hit their house in Sumy region
In the Sumy region, four people were killed as a result of a Russian drone attack. The incident occurred in the village of Chernechchyna, which is part of the Krasnopil community.
Two residential buildings were damaged as a result of the strike – one of them was two-story, the other was one-story. Both were significantly destroyed.
Rescuers quickly went to the scene, where they fought the fire and searched for people under the rubble. During the search, the bodies of four deceased were found. Among them were a couple and their two young sons, born in 2018 and 2021.
In addition, on September 30, Russian troops struck again at the energy infrastructure in the Chernihiv region, in particular in the area of the Bobrovytsia community. The attack led to damage to energy facilities, as a result of which more than 26 thousand consumers in Bobrovytsia and neighboring villages lost power. Energy workers have already begun to eliminate the consequences. Still, they emphasized that the work will be carried out taking into account the security situation and may stop during air raids. Residents were urged to exercise caution near energy facilities, as they remain a target for attacks.
