About 600 UAH additional payments: which pensioners will receive these funds?

In Ukraine, some citizens have the opportunity to receive an additional pension payment of almost 600 hryvnias. Specialists from the Pension Fund explained the conditions and categories of persons eligible to apply in one of the regional departments.

Special pension benefits are provided for participants in hostilities, including the possibility of early retirement.

Veterans can apply for a pension upon reaching the age of 55 with at least 25 years of insurance experience. For women, these conditions are milder: they receive the right to pension payments from the age of 50 with at least 20 years of experience.

In addition, veterans are provided with a monthly supplement to the basic pension. According to Article 12 of the relevant law, its size is 25% of the subsistence minimum for people with disabilities. In 2025, this amount is equal to 590 hryvnias. It is important to note that this additional payment is accrued regardless of the type of pension the veteran receives—whether for age, disability, or another reason.

Thus, even under the conditions of the minimum pension, participants in hostilities can receive additional financial support from the state.
