Kyivstar again adjusts tariffs for popular package services: what are the new prices for mobile communications

Mobile operator “Kyivstar” has announced price increases for two of its tariff plans, which will take effect in October. This applies to the LOVE UA and LOVE UA World 2023 tariffs. The price for the first tariff has increased from 200 to 250 hryvnias, and for the second tariff from 250 to 300 hryvnias, over the past 4 weeks.

Customers who already use these tariffs can switch to other current company options free of charge. This can be done through a mobile application, official website, or in service centers.

The company noted that users can choose from the available tariffs.

The press service of “Kyivstar” reported that the reasons for the increase in tariffs are rising costs of maintaining communication, in particular, electricity prices for businesses increased by 60% in the evening hours. In addition, the increase in fuel prices complicated the operation of generators and the logistics of repair crews, and the cost of services was affected by inflation and exchange rate fluctuations.

This is not the first case of tariff changes by mobile operators since the beginning of the year. Previously, new rules were introduced that regulate the blocking of spam and advertising calls.

Under the new requirements, companies must register the services that make the calls, and users can directly contact the operator with complaints about unwanted calls. In addition, contracts must specify the Internet speed, and a free communication package and protection of SIM cards from blocking are provided for residents of war zones.
