The Red Corridor at the Ustylug checkpoint will be closed for two days

Drivers are warned of possible delays at the Ustyluh-Zosyn border crossing due to planned roadworks.

According to the State Border Service of Ukraine, on October 20, specialists of the Service for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure of the Volyn Region will begin repair work at the checkpoint.

During this period, the “Red Corridor” traffic lane at the entrance to Ukraine will be blocked entirely for 2 days. Vehicles will be able to pass through other lanes, which may lead to delays and queues on the Polish side. The works are planned to be completed by November 30.

Drivers are advised to take this situation into account when planning trips.

In addition, Ukrainians crossing the border often face queues, which can be viewed online. Earlier, the border guards informed that they were checking the detained men of draft age for possible evasion of mobilization and for the accuracy of their military registration data.

It is also worth noting some incidents:

– Due to a technical failure in Poland’s system, only empty trucks were allowed to leave Ukraine.

– In Poland, teenagers tricked a Ukrainian man into meeting a 16-year-old girl by creating a fake page, and as a result, attacked him.

– In Warsaw, activist Zenobia Zachek, defending an elderly Ukrainian woman, became the victim of an attack, which caused a great public outcry.
