Miss Ukraine 2023 left the show The Bachelor and threatened legal action

On the evening of October 31, the third episode of the 14th season of “The Bachelor”, starring actor Taras Tsymbalyuk, aired. The episode became notable because one of the participants, Sofia Shamiya, unexpectedly left the project before the rose ceremony. This happened against the backdrop of conflicts with other girls and accusations made against her.

Several participants drew attention to her behavior, accusing her of insincerity. They found that Sofia constantly mentions her title “Miss Ukraine-2023” in front of cameras, but shows a different side in ordinary conversation. In particular, she previously claimed she does not accept relationships with partners much older, but later recalled her experience with a 31-year-old man.

One of the participants claimed that her client, who is expecting a child, suspects that her husband is cheating on her with Shamiya. In response to all the accusations, Sofia decided not to argue and left the show.

On Instagram, Shamiya commented on this situation, noting that the television version distorted her personality through editing. She said that at the first party, the editors asked her to mention the title, but she refused. However, the episode included many moments in which she constantly seemed to emphasize her status.

Sofia wrote: “People can be so easily deceived. This is editing! At the first party, the editors encouraged me to say that I am a ‘miss’ when we met, but I refused. As a result, they used numerous fragments where I supposedly repeat myself. See you in court.”
