Power outage on November 1: some regions of Ukraine will remain without electricity for a certain period of time
Energy services warn of planned restrictions on electricity consumption, to be in effect during the morning and evening hours. Citizens are advised to prepare in advance and follow the announcements of local energy suppliers.
On November 1, temporary restrictions on electricity supply will be introduced in several regions of Ukraine, according to Ukrenergo.
These measures are due to the consequences of new large-scale missile and drone attacks by Russia, which caused damage to energy facilities throughout the country.
According to Ukrenergo, restrictions on electricity consumption will be introduced according to the following schedule:
From 08:00 to 10:00 – consumption will remain at the level of 0.5 queue;
From 15:00 to 22:00, capacity restrictions will also be introduced for industrial consumers.
Ukrenergo energy specialists noted that the time and volume of outages may change depending on the situation in the power system. Citizens are asked to follow the latest updates on the official resources of the regional energy company of the relevant region.
Experts urge the population to save electricity: turn off unnecessary appliances, avoid overloading the network in the evening, and plan the use of energy-intensive devices for the night.
Such measures will help stabilize the power system and prevent emergency outages, emphasize energy specialists.
It is worth noting that on October 31, stabilization schedules for power outages were already implemented in Kyiv, as restrictions are necessary to balance the power system after overloads.
