The Rada has announced a forecast for the end of the war in Ukraine, and it does not inspire optimism

Negotiations with Russia show the unchanging nature of their demands: annexation of Ukrainian lands, refusal of Ukraine’s accession to NATO, and provision of other “guarantees”. People’s Deputy Bohdan Yaremenko expressed this opinion in an interview.

He noted that, despite the positive rhetoric during meetings with Russian representatives, no real progress has been observed. Russia is playing with words, trying to avoid an adverse reaction, in particular from US President Donald Trump, who, according to Yaremenko, has already understood this game.

The People’s Deputy emphasized that any Russian statements about a “truce” are a trick. In his opinion, the Russians use such situations to accumulate resources, transfer troops, and prepare for more powerful attacks on Ukraine. This is not a real truce, but only a pause to achieve military goals.

The politician also noted that, regardless of public statements, Russia’s actions are aimed solely at achieving military victory. According to him, the Russians are not looking for compromises for the sake of compromises and do not plan to deviate from their goals. The war can only stop when one side can no longer continue fighting, but not before the upcoming holidays.
