Weeknd заробив понад $1 мільярд на своєму концертному турі

The Weeknd has earned over $1 billion from his concert tour

The Weeknd’s “After Hours Til Dawn” concert tour has reached $1 billion in total box office revenue, making it the highest-grossing solo tour by a male artist in history. The tour, which kicked off in 2022 in Philadelphia, spanned 153 shows across various countries and sold over 7.5 million tickets.

According to reports, this achievement made The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) the record-holder among solo artists. Only Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” earned $2.2 billion, and Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres” tour, which brought in $1.39 billion. However, it is worth noting that Taylor Swift sold fewer tickets — 4.35 million for 60 shows. This indicates that The Weeknd’s concert offering was more accessible to a broader audience.

The “After Hours Til Dawn” tour will run through September 2026, with the final concert in Lisbon. In addition to its financial success, the tour also had a charitable component: thanks to its cooperation with the XO Humanitarian Fund and Global Citizen, it raised several million dollars for philanthropic initiatives, bringing the total to over $8.5 million. The artist’s team plans to continue supporting various charitable projects.
