Korchinsky demanded that deserters be shot and evaders be destroyed, and called for life imprisonment.

It is impossible to improve the mobilization system in Ukraine without significant changes, because the population is not ready to go to war. To force draft evaders to defend the country, the state must take radical measures. This was stated by Dmytro Korchinsky, founder of the organization “Brotherhood, in his interview.

He noted that without harsh punishments for those who resist military commissars, the situation will not change. Korchinsky emphasized that only with the help of decisive measures, such as the threat of life imprisonment for attacking commissariats, can such cases be prevented.

The activist recalled that in history, during large-scale military conflicts, deserters were usually punished cruelly. In his opinion, the current time requires real strength and decisive action from the state.

He also expressed his opinion on punishing military personnel for illegal actions, noting that such initiatives are populist and harmful to the state. Korchinsky asks what a soldier should do when he is attacked, and argues that no one should put their life at risk because of uncertainty about their role in such situations.

According to him, in times of war, the state must act decisively; otherwise, the consequences can be catastrophic.
